It Makes Me Think (Song for George)
I wrote this song a little after I found out George Harrison had died. It was a sad time for me and it was hard to express in mere words, but I really wanted to pay tribute to him in a song so I wrote this. The lines about the world's evil are about all the people behind the 9/11 attacks.

It makes me think that the best
are now gone, they've been laid to rest
While the evil in this world still is here
Trying to make us live in fear
It makes me wonder, it makes me think.

I can't really comprehend
Why his life had to end
And the evil of the world still lurks
Trying to do their evil works
It makes me wonder, it makes me think.

That the ones who tried to keep the peace
Their lives have now been ceased
And the evil of the world roams free
Being the worst that they could be
It makes me wonder, it makes me think.

Johnny Redd, Magic
This is just a meaningless thing I wrote that I like.

Johhny Redd ate stale bread every day of his life
It angered his children
It angered his parents
But mostly it angered his wife.

Then one night Johnny Redd ate stale bread
The next morning he was found dead
Nobody knows who took his life
Except the killer Johnny Redd's wife.

"Magic" is a pointless four lines.

Pull a rabbit out of a hat
Make a giraffe as small as a cat
How can you do these things, you say?
Magic, my friend, magic is the way.
